From the first hello we clicked...

I remember our first greeting and smile - I think I startled her a bit with a hug right away but hey, that's just me.

She was tall and pretty wearing a jeans skirt and a red tshirt with an American flag on the front.

I don't remember every single detail, just a few. But I do know that that moment, in the Summer of 2011, was only the beginning of a wonderful friendship with a wonderful person.

Nicole Christine Frey is one of the most amazing people I know. She's beautiful, funny, sweet, loving. I have countless memories that I can recall of her. Most of them make me laugh out loud each time.

Nicole and I have never had a fight that I can recall. Ok yeah, so there was that one time when we fought over whether her outfit looked good or not. We were home alone and made a huge dramatic deal out of it for no reason. I remember laying on her bed dying of laughter afterwards.

I remember visiting Gramma Williams in Summer 2012, we had a blast. Eating gummy butterflies, and drinking chocolate milk in pretty glass goblets. Swimming in the lake, screaming like a buncha girls.....*cough* Well, we are girls.

We made a coconut cream pie while we were there and had to whip the cream by hand. I convinced her to let us use Gramma's old fashioned hand beater over the electric one. Worst idea....EVER!

We both just about died before the cream was even fully whipped. But we laughed and made it through. That pie looked amazing and we were SO excited until we heard all her brothers were coming over too!

No. No. No. We pouted and hid our chocolate milk. We didn't want to share our girl time with four rambunctious hooligans!!

We went down to the lake to swim one afternoon and took a video of ourselves as we walked, mumbling about The Party Pooping Brothers who were soon to arrive.

Hmm, it was SO fitting for me to almost step in dog poo as we grumbled. We lost it. Snorting and laughing. Oh goodness. We got laughs out of that weeks down the road.

When the boys came it wasn't TOO bad. We ate most of the pie while the boys swam so we wouldn't have to share much. Sis Kim called us oinkers and it's true, we should have been more generous to The Party Pooping Brothers.

I have thousand of more memories. Watching the Sound of Music, eating candy and blue icecream. Devouring a whole bag of chips. Yard work together. Cooking. Late nights up talking and laughing. Jonathan and her dad overhearing us. Getting embarrassed. Laughing some more. Sleeping in the trailer, creepy dogs howling in the middle of the night. Swimming in the icy creek, picture posing at Blaine Water Front Park, football games with the boys, berry picking. Fair rides, sleep overs at the Hayes. Bonfires in the front yard til after midnight.

I could write a whole book of my memories with Nicole. And maybe I will one day I will, for us to look back and read when we are old and grey. Each moment spent together has been amazing.

I can honestly say that over the past two years since that first hello, we have only gotten closer. I thank the Lord for giving me such a wonderful friend. I am truly blessed.

I love you Nicole! So very very much! <3
